Digital Desert BP LLC’s still-upcoming 42-acre mixed-use development Evora Las Vegas, situated at the intersection of South Buffalo Drive and West Patrick Lane, is the future home of 1,343 residential units and 240,000 square feet of commercial space.
Taps and Barrels, a new self-pour taphouse and lounge, is one of the food and beverage concepts preparing to open at Evora. Taps and Barrels will feature a wall of 36 taps, with craft brews made locally and curated from within the United States (and without).
“We’re really showcasing beers from all over the world,” owner Ming Liu told What Now on Wednesday.
After showing ID to the cashier, guests will receive a card allowing them to serve themselves from the self-pour taps, which Liu says may eventually come to include wine, sake, and other drinks, like hard kombucha. The main idea is variety, a place where you can always find something new.
The space will include a large dining room, lounge spaces featuring sofas and TVs, and a 1,000 square-foot outdoor patio. All told, the space will seat about 90 inside, with perhaps 30 more outside. A small food menu will feature—to give a few examples—wings, pizza, fries, bratwurst, crispy fried mushrooms, and even ahi tuna poke.
“It’s a prime spot to watch the live performances once all of Evora is up and running,” Liu said.
