Chamana’s Cafe & Molino, a new Mexican restaurant serving brunch, lunch, and dinner, is poised to open soon at 3655 S Durango Drive, Suite 29.

Behind the new restaurant are Dan Krohmer, owner of seafood spot Other Mama (located next door), and Mariana Alvarado, the chef behind Masazul, reports Eater Las Vegas.

“Alvarado is putting her own twist on brunch, incorporating the masa she produces for Masazul into dishes like an avocado toast with a maize base and tacos on handmade tortillas,” says the Eater coverage.

There will also be a focus on beverages: coffee drinks and natural sodas made with real fruit.

“Chamana’s is a Mexican eatery that draws inspiration from the spiritual and therapeutic practices of ancestral healers providing wholesome cuisine to promote harmony, showcasing culinary creativity in its purest form,” says the Chamana’s website.

Opening in the retail center on South Durango Drive, Chamana’s Cafe & Molino will be joining a restaurant community that includes not only Other Mama but also concepts like Lao Kitchen, Windy City Chicago Style Pizza, Zaytoon, and Brewskies Bar & Grille.
