Launched in California in March of 2016, R Burgers first made its debut in Las Vegas a few years later, in 2018. Since then, it has been continuing to grow, reaching a total of eight restaurants, two of which are in Vegas. Now, a third Vegas store is on the way, planned for 2845 S Nellis Blvd., as part of Vegas Valley Plaza.

The two R Burgers currently operating in Vegas serve up a wide variety of menu choices, ranging from a Breakfast menu that includes the Breakfast Burrito, the French Toast Plate, and a selection of omelets; to burgers like Original Burger, the R Burger (Our signature Burger with Bacon and Avocado), and the Island Burger (Teriyaki Sauce, Grilled Pineapple & Bacon); to sandwiches like the Steak Sandwich and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich.

Founded by longtime restaurateur and entrepreneur Abraham Shakolas, R Burgers is a family-owned and -operated enterprise, Kosta Tsolis, who runs the Vegas side of the business, told What Now on Wednesday.

“We run on that immigrant hustle our parents gave us from Greece,” Tsolis said. “They worked their butts off seven days a week, and so do we. Everything is freshly made, our patties are never frozen. And our Happy Hour is doing very well, because it’s the same burger you get at 10 pm, except it’s four dollars.”

Happy Hour at R Burgers runs from 2 to 5 p.m., offering a menu of favorites for only $4: the Original Cheeseburger, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chili Cheese Fried, and house made Crunchy Tacos.

Stay tuned as Vegas’s third R Burgers is preparing to launch in the New Year.
