After closing for renovations in March, Real Donuts Owner Tanya Solares said the plan is to reopen in mid-July or late August.
“We’ve been looking to do the renovation for quite some time,” she said. “This really came at the perfect time for us.”
Located at 1811 W. Charleston Blvd., the renovation will be part of the city’s Charleston Boulevard expansion which will “cut into” Real Donuts by about five feet.
“We’re getting a brand new door and doing some layout modifications,” Solares said. “We also want to switch up the menu and bring in some new items.”
Real Donuts specializes in traditional donuts. The donut shop serves donuts, pastries, croissants, smoothies, and specialty espresso drinks.
“We’re more of a traditional type donut shop,” Solares said “My dad has been doing this for over 40 years.”
