Last week, Honolulu-born Asian food hall STIX ASIA announced plans to open its second bustling food hall location, this time in Las Vegas, at Matter Real Estate’s UnCommons mixed-use development.
“STIX ASIA was founded on the idea of creating a space where people can connect over exceptional food and rich cultural experiences; it’s a culinary journey throughout Asia without a passport,” Frank Clark, CEO of STIX ASIA, said in a press release. “Expanding to Las Vegas, particularly at UnCommons, is an exciting step forward in sharing an array of authentic Asian cuisine under one roof.”
The UnCommons location features an impressive 18,000 square feet with a design that “seamlessly combines Asian tradition with modern architecture,” says the press release. it will include 12 dining concepts, offering cuisines from all over the Asian continent.
“Southwest Las Vegas, led by UnCommons, has evolved into a thriving epicenter of food, culture and connection,” said Jim Stuart, partner at Matter Real Estate. “STIX ASIA embodies this spirit and meets the desires of the community through world-class Asian cuisine in an immersive, experiential setting at an affordable price. We’re excited to welcome STIX ASIA as a cornerstone of UnCommons.”
What Now reached out to Frank Clark on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the rollout and what concepts can be expected in the Las Vegas location. (Will there be any overlap with the Waikiki location, for example?) Clark was not immediately available for comment.
