Founded in 2016 by entrepreneur duo Alex Tchekmeian and Iain Yeakle, Foxtail Coffee now operates approximately 30 locations, mostly in Central Florida.
“Alex and Iain launched Foxtail on simple and basic principles – to roast great coffee that guests can enjoy in an inviting and comfortable environment,” reads the coffee chain’s website. “Believing coffee should be purposeful, celebrated, and enjoyed, they built a company that approaches producing coffee as a craft and serving coffee as a celebration.”
Paperwork recently submitted to Clark County appears to show plans for a Foxtail location here in Las Vegas, at 9490 W Russell Rd. The plans estimate a construction budget of $300,000.
And from the looks of it, that’s not all that’s in store. Another Florida brand, Itsa Chicken, appears to be attached to the project. Itsa Chicken currently has one location, operating in Orlando FL. Founded by Trent Robinson, it offers a variety of chicken sandwiches and other chicken dishes.
It appears that both these brands will occupy the space at W Russell Rd. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Robinson on Friday. Robinson declined to comment on the news at this time.
