Skye Canyon Marketplace will soon be home to Two Sisters Broasted Chicken & Ribs, the first restaurant in Las Vegas to offer pressure-fried chicken, a poultry preparation most popular in the Midwest. The restaurant has begun construction and is still a few months away from opening at 9750 W Skye Canyon Park Drive, in suite 130.

“We’re the only place that carries it,” owner Stacy McBride told What Now on Tuesday. “The next closest place, I believe, is Boulder City.”

Two Sisters’ chicken is seasoned and marinated for at least twelve hours before undergoing pressure frying.

“It’s a big machine,” McBride said. “It takes about twelve minutes, which means its cooked fresh with every order. We don’t make a bunch of chickens and put them under a heat lamp.”

The broasted chicken will be served by the piece (two, four, six, eight, and so on) and in the form of chicken sandwiches, along with a variety of sides.

Anchored by a Smith’s Marketplace, Skye Canyon Marketplace is a thriving food and drink community, with eateries like Skye Bar & Grill, Big Boy Tavern, Island Flavor, and Omelette Cafe.
