Founded by Vegas restaurateurs Andy Zhao and Maya Kwong, Xiao Long Dumplings has been serving up its instant-hit soup dumplings in Chinatown for a few years now, building a following in its home at 4275 Spring Mountain Road. Now, building permit paperwork has been submitted to Clark County showing plans for a Xiaolong Dumplings at 6945 S Buffalo Drive.

“Xiao Long Bao, simple but sophisticated, carries thousands of years of Chinese cooking art in a small round soup dumpling. It is easy to make, but difficult to make perfect,” says the Xiao Long Dumplings website. “At Xiao Long Dumplings, we use the best ingredients available. All dumplings are freshly made every day, because freshness is the key.”

The menu features a wide variety of xiao long bao and other dumpling choices, ranging from Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings to Pork Pot Stickers, to Steamed Beef Dumplings. There are also plenty of entrée choices, including noodle dishes, stir fries, and fried rice varieties—not to mention desserts like Nutella Chocolate Banana Xiao Long Bao.

What Now reached out to co-owner Maya Kwong on Saturday to inquire about plans for a second Xiao Long Dumplings. Kwong was not immediately available for comment.
