Daniel’s Jewelers has been in business since 1948, when Joe and Helene Sherwood struck out on their own to start a family business. In the 70 years that have passed since then, the business has grown to include more than 100 locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. It currently operates three stores in Las Vegas and is planning to open a fourth this spring, at Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Permit paperwork submitted to Clark County estimated a construction budget of $135,000 for a work in unit 68 of the shopping center.

“We’ve been looking at that property since we first came to Las Vegas,” David Sherwood, CEO and grandson to the company’s founder, told What Now Las Vegas on Tuesday. “Las Vegas is a great market for us.”

Daniel’s offers a wide selection of fine jewelry and watches, plus branded collections featuring brands like Crislu and Disney. And in addition to its full range of products, Sherwood said, Daniel’s Jewelry also offers the most extensive array of credit options.

At Las Vegas South Premium outlets, Daniel’s Jewelers will join a community of retail and dining outlets that include Hugo Boss, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, and Coach, plus eateries like Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen and Rubio’s Mexican Cuisine.

The precise opening date is not yet known, but the fourth Las Vegas Daniel’s Jewelers store is expected to open before the end of May.
