The building that most recently held Brando’s Sports Bar will soon house Deep Roots Harvest’s 100% Nevada-grown cannabis products. Since its launch in 2015, Deep Roots has supplied dispensaries throughout the state. Now, Las Vegas is getting its first brick-and-mortar Deep Roots storefronts.
“We are doing a fairly major renovation, including bringing city water to the project, so the timeline is still up in the air,” COO Jon Marshall told What Now Las Vegas.
Deep Roots is planning to move into the property at 3725 Blue Diamond Rd. by the end of 2021. In addition to this development, the company is also working on building out dispensaries at 1306 W Craig Rd. and 5991 W Cheyenne Rd., with another shop pending approval in Henderson.
While Deep Roots was founded in Mesquite, Marijuana Business Daily reported in 2019 that the company has since been acquired by the New-York-based marijuana firm Acreage Holdings.
In addition to the Mesquite dispensary, Deep Roots has also established itself in West Wendover. Their cultivation process yields popular strains like Alien OG and Old School Lemons, as well as a range of edibles and extracts.
