An ice cream concept out of California will join a new food hall project in Las Vegas.
Smitten Ice Cream is planned for The Sundry, a 20,000-square-foot food hall set for the UnCommons mixed-use development.
The Sundry, set to open in early 2023, is from TableOne Hospitality, a partnership between Chef Michael Mina’s Mina Group, CEO Patric Yumul, and Highgate, a management company.
“We’re very excited to be part of the project with TableOne and the amazing brands that they’ve curated,” said Smitten Ice Cream CEO Robyn Sue Fisher.
It will be the third location of Smitten Ice Cream. Its current locations are in San Francisco and San Jose.
In 2009, Fisher set out on a mission to reengineer ice cream and patented her own ice cream machine, according to the Smitten Ice Cream website.
“We make the freshest ice cream on Earth,” Fisher said. “It is fresh churned in our proprietary ice cream machine that we invented over a decade. The ice cream is immensely smooth and delicious. We craft each flavor from the highest quality ingredients.”
Fisher added that the ice cream is made fresh for each customer.
“It’s made for you,” she said. “Like any food, ice cream is best fresh … It takes about 90 seconds.”
Their popular flavors include chocolate ganache, as well as “Brookies ’n cream,” a mixture of brownies and chocolate chip cookies with a sweet cream base.
