Rainbow Promotions announced that this year’s Long Beach Jazz Festival, originally scheduled for August 9-10, has been postponed. Organizers posted the update on the festival’s official website.

Addressed to ‘Jazz Enthusiasts,’ the Rainbow Team wrote, “After careful consideration, the Rainbow Team has made the difficult decision to postpone the 36th Annual Long Beach Jazz Festival until 2026 due to circumstances beyond our control.”

The announcement noted that the festival will find a new home at the scenic Long Beach Amphitheater by the sea. Organizers said the move was necessary to ensure the best possible experience for attendees.

Construction on the new Long Beach Amphitheater began this summer. It is expected to conclude work by the end of 2025. The rescheduled date for 2026 is yet to be revealed by the organizers.

Tickets

Rainbow Promotions confirmed that people who have purchased the tickets will be offered two options. They can either hold their tickets for the new date, which is still to be announced, or request a refund.

Although the 36th Long Beach Jazz Festival is on hold, anticipation is already building for its 2026 return. Despite the change in location and dates, the show is expected to be a spectacular celebration of music and community.
