Top Gelato Chefs Compete in LA for Spot in World Finals
The prestigious Gelato Festival World Masters returns to Los Angeles for the first time since 2023. Set at Ovation Hollywood, the event celebrates artisanal gelato and determines which chefs will advance to the 2026 World Finals.
Competitors like Mohammad Alqawasmi, Lauren Brock, and Maria Liliana Biondo will be judged by both a panel of professionals and festival attendees. In addition to the competition, the festival will offer tastings, free samples from the Gelato Festival brand, and live cooking demonstrations.
The gelato festival has partnered with the Hollywood Food Coalition this year. A portion of ticket sales will support the nonprofit’s mission to combat food insecurity in Los Angeles. Attendees can support the cause by purchasing tickets online.
The Hollywood Food Coalition will also host an informational booth onsite during the event.

Tickets and Offers
Tickets, now available online, include a variety of perks and experiences. The tickets for general admission will start at $27.25 per person, which is timed at 3 sessions – from 10 AM to 1 PM, 1 to 4 PM, and 4 to 6 PM.
General admission includes one flavor sample from Joy Gelato, one Bristot coffee, one sample from the festival’s product line, a digital photo at the photobooth, and access to all festival programs during the mentioned sessions. General admission does not include access to the competition flavor tastings.
The All-Inclusive Flex Pass starts at $64 and offers unlimited entry with no time slots. The ticket includes passes for tasting and voting on all 10 competition flavors. Tickets for children aged 12 and under will start at $22.
Seniors, veterans, and guests with disabilities can purchase tickets for $22, which include all general admission benefits.
With top chefs competing for a spot in the World Finals, the Gelato Festival offers Angelenos a rare chance to sample award-worthy gelato from across North America.
