In this spirit, the Community Services Department of the City of Torrance California has been conducting the springtime event since 2012. Pan-Asian Performances
Representing Asian culture, the Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival will stage dynamic performances by various Pan-Asian artists. Some performances for the 2025 event include a vibrant Bollywood dance act by BollyPop, traditional Japanese drumming by Asano Taiko, and Naginata Martial Arts by the Southern California Naginata Federation (SCNF).
There will also be performances like Chinese folk dance by South Bay Little Angels, traditional Japanese folk music by Matsutoyo Kai, and a martial arts demo by Master Don Wortman.
Food Trucks
To enhance attendees’ experience at the Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival, a variety of delicious food will be available. Every year, the organizers invite food vendors with licensed food trucks to sell their range of food delicacies at the festival.
Announced food vendors include Deli Doctor (offering wraps, sandwiches, and burgers), Pinch of Flavor (providing teriyaki, sushi rolls, and poke bowls), and Felice Italian Catering (serving pastas, salads, and desserts).
Handcrafted Items
The enjoyment at the Torrance-based cultural festival extends beyond the Pan-Asian performances and diverse food offerings from the food trucks. Attendees can explore the counters where some talented artisans shall be showcasing and selling their unique crafts.
Ardies General Store is one of the names that will be seen at the festival. It will showcase sundries, massage candles, artisan soaps, beeswax lip balms, and container candles. Kelly Kreates 4 U will exhibit handmade necklaces, keychains, and bracelets.
