Ginza Bowl in Pomona was inspected by the County of Los Angeles Public Health officials. The inspectors noted the facility was using non-permissible equipment and utensils, which were not in good repair. Inspectors also observed unclean food-contact surfaces.

As per the inspection findings, staff did not store toxic substances properly separated from the food items. Nonfood-contact surfaces were visibly dirty and contaminated. Live insects and rodents were observed within the facility.

The inspector observed that backflow devices were not installed at the restaurant to manage plumbing. The kitchen lacked sufficient lighting and ventilation. Food was not stored safely, and staff did not have accurate thermometers to maintain proper temperatures. Some parts of the floors, walls, and ceilings needed immediate attention and repair.
