Korea BBQ House underwent a routine check by the Los Angeles health department on February 20. The restaurant was found in violation of several food codes, resulting in its temporary closure.

Korea BBQ House serves BBQ plates, bibimbap, and other similar dishes from the cuisine, along with imported beer and sake. According to the report, the violations listed were:
- The report flagged the presence of vermin in the facility.
- Toxic substances were not properly identified.
- Non-food contact surfaces were observed to be unclean.
- The equipment and utensils were not properly maintained and of adequate capacity for their intended use.

- Wiping cloths were not properly used and stored. They are to be maintained in the correct sanitizing solutions when in use.
- The report noted that the floors, walls, and ceilings were not properly maintained and kept clean.

The facility’s permit has been suspended, and the restaurant has been ordered to close due to noncompliance. Korea BBQ House is expected to correct all the violations to reopen.
