Taco Nazo was cited for multiple violations by the California Health and Safety Code, which were listed in a detailed report. Out of these, the facility was temporarily closed that day due to a vermin infestation.

Taco Nazo is recognized locally for its Ensenada-style fish tacos. Gilberto and Maria Romero originally began the fish taco chain as a taco truck concept in 1978. Other than the taco items, patrons visit Taco Nazo for delicacies like fish burrito, Mixed ceviche, Shrimp quesadilla, and more.
The restaurant was cited for the below violations listed in its inspection report:
- The health officials observed improper cooling methods at Taco Nazo during their inspection.
- According to the report, the restaurant violated the regulation regarding the presence of insects/rodents/birds/animals.
- Taco Nazo’s nonfood-contact surfaces were not maintained in a clean condition.
- The L.A. food facility failed to maintain floors, walls, and ceilings in good repair.

The restaurant will need to address the violations. The establishment must comply with county health regulations.
