Diners visit the family-owned Vietnamese restaurant for a wide variety of dishes. However, the official report of the inspection records a few health code violations. Those are as follows:
- The food contact surfaces at Tay Ho were not clean and sanitized.
- According to the inspection report, the Vietnamese eatery violated the department’s guidelines concerning insects, rodents, birds, or animals at L.A. food facilities.
- The report showed that Tay Ho was not following the parameters for the proper identification/storage/usage of toxic substances.
- Non-food contact surfaces were not clean at the L.A. food establishment, the report stated.
- Tay Ho was cited for violating the requirements of adequate ventilation and lighting in the designated areas.
- According to the report, floors, walls, and ceilings were not properly maintained or cleaned.
- Tay Ho’s inspection report showed that its health permit was temporarily suspended.
