The County of Los Angeles Public Health conducted routine food safety inspections across local food establishments. As a result of failing the inspection, Galaxy Sports Bar, Egg N Bird, and KFC K312005 were temporarily closed on June 26.

Egg N Bird was ordered to shut its food operations on June 26. Inspectors of the County of Los Angeles Public Health gave the verdict due to the following violations.

  • Permit suspension
  • Vermin infestation
  • Dirty nonfood-contact surfaces
  • Poor state of floors, ceilings, and walls
  • Unsanitized food contact surfaces
  • Unapproved utensils/equipment
  • Inefficient lighting and ventilation

KFC K312005
