Pho Filet was inspected to check if the restaurant complies with the California Health and Safety Code. Inspectors found multiple violations at the restaurant. Ventilation and lighting were not adequate. The facility had a vermin infestation, which could be a major cause of foodborne illnesses.

Inspectors found that cleaning chemicals were not stored separately and food holding temperatures were not maintained. Multiple food contact and nonfood contact surfaces in the facility needed deep cleaning and repair.

The restaurant did not maintain clean and properly constructed toilet facilities. The inspection found that equipment, floors, and walls need repairs and proper maintenance.

Multiple violations and vermin infestation were the main reasons behind the closure. The date for a follow-up inspection has not been announced, but the restaurant can reopen once all violations are addressed.
