A West Coast self-storage developer has plans for a three-story, approximately 165,000-square-foot facility in Arleta, according to a new planning case posted by the city of Los Angeles this month.
Proposed by Trojan Storage, the project would rise on a vacant, triangular site bordered by Paxton Street to the south and I-5 to the east. It would include a 152,000-square-foot main building and approximately 12,200-square-foot secondary building. The self-storage development would also provide 1,130 square feet of office space and 1,600 square feet of living quarters for security and maintenance purposes, plans show.
Trojan Storage is joined on its development plans by project architect Jordan Architects and project representative Crest Real Estate, according to application documents.
Referred to as Trojan Storage Arleta, the project would also provide 57 automobile parking spaces in a surface parking lot.
Founded in 2007, Trojan Storage has 25 locations across the western U.S., according to its website. Most are in California, while another six are in the Pacific Northwest.
