Barry’s Bootcamp Brentwood is moving forward.

The City of Los Angeles recently issued the necessary permits for the fitness facility to build out its Brentwood Gardens Plaza space, at 11677 San Vicente Boulevard.

Barry’s Bootcamp will occupy suites 105, 107, and 108 on the ground level of the two-story commercial center.

An estimated $150,000 will be spent combining the three former retail spaces into the new Barry’s Bootcamp, according to the official City filing.

It’s been a long time coming for the West Hollywood-based fitness class chain to open in Brentwood.

Reps for Barry’s first presented plans for the new location in 2018 and a City of Los Angeles West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission’s Letter of Determination dated May 31, 2019, approving the project, was appealed by the Brentwood Residents Coalition (BRC).

The BRC in August 2019, reached terms, paving the way for Barry’s Bootcamp Brentwood to move forward, with conditions.

“…Barry’s Bootcamp, Brentwood Gardens, and BRC have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with respect to the operating conditions for Barry’s Bootcamp,” a “communication from the public” stated.

“The MOU resolves the concerns raised by BRC’s appeal and BRC now supports the project so long as the City Council adopts the revised conditions of approval as recommended by PLUM…”

Barry’s Bootcamp Brentwood is slated to debut before the end of Q1, 2020.
