Jeff Safenowitz created Barkbus, a mobile dog-grooming service focused on Woodland Hills and the surrounding areas. Now he’s looking to expand but in order to do that, the company needs a proper office. Located at 22741 Ventura Blvd, Barkbus’s central hub will help them control all its pet services in the neighborhood. While they are looking to expand to areas beyond that, Barkbus — and by extension, its office — is centered in Woodland Hills and is the home turf of Safenowitz.

“Our business has been based here in Woodland Hills for the past few years,” Safenowitz told What Now Los Angeles (WNLA). “When we thought about where we wanted to put our first hub.” The location of Barkbus’s office is essential and Safenowitz took everything into account, especially considering its location near the highway. To him, it’s the perfect location, a business conveniently located right in his backyard.

It’s worth noting that Barkbus won’t be doing any groomings here, nor are they accepting walk-ins, but this new development will promise a higher quality and of service, and the ability to take on more pets. Safenowitz is just excited to serve more families.

Recently, Barkbus worked with a local animal rescue called Foxy and the Hounds to host an “adoption and grooming day.” In the process of expanding its business, they hope to connect with other shelters. Right now, there is no exact date of opening, as Safenowitz was intentionally minimal with the information — since this is no “walk-in” location — but it will be soon, he said.
