The Los Angeles planning department has approved plans for a four-story, eight-unit apartment building in the Wilshire Park neighborhood, according to a determination letter posted by the city this month.
The owner behind the project is an entity registered at an address of MTM Construction, which has plans for the roughly 45-foot-tall community to take shape at 951 South Wilton Place. The development will replace a two-story duplex at the site built in 1924.
The developer is joined on the project by project architect Andmore Partners and landscape architect YKD, plans show.
The South Wilton Place community will hold four studio loft units, two one-bedrooms, one two-bedroom, and one three-bedroom. Two apartments will be limited to below-market-rate rents: one for a very low-income household and another for a low-income household.
Plans call for ground-floor garage parking with space for 12 automobiles and 14 bicycles and accessible from the north via a driveway off of San Marino Street.
