Nobibi, an LA-based dessert destination boasting sensory-tantalizing treats, is expanding throughout Southern California on the heels of a OneV Capital partnership.

The brand’s growth brings with it a Claremont location (175 N Indian Hill Blvd) slated to open in early August that will be licensed by SANA LA Inc., an entity helmed by partners Ying Xu and Ashley Li.

A Chino Hills native and longtime neighbor of Nobibi’s maiden operation, Xu tells What Now Los Angeles he’s no stranger to the company’s greatness. So, when founder Shirley Shinn expressed interest in expanding and licensing, Xu knew better than to let the opportunity pass.

Following the opening of the Claremont store, Xu – a hotel-industry expert – and Li, who for years has curated successful after-school programs, will officially open two additional outposts, one in Rancho Cucamonga and another in Lake Forest.

This, however, is just the beginning for Xu and Li as the eager new licensee says he eventually hopes to open five stores pending the Claremont location’s success.

Nobibi offers customers a wild and striking ride into a dreamy dessert land featuring signature scoops, cotton candy, Egg Puff Ice Cream, hand-beaten coffee drinks, brown-sugar boba, and fruit-topped puddings.

What’s more, sweet tooths around SoCal can continue rejoicing as the company will also open locations in Irvine, Fountain Valley, Brea, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Diamond Bar, Walnut, and San Diego.

In addition to Chino Hills, Nobibi currently operates an Eastvale store and a Bend, Oregon outpost.
