Oath Pizza — a pie concept focused on real ingredients and thoughtfully crafted cuisine — is opening its first Southern California franchise at 700 S Allied Way in El Segundo this spring.
The outpost will take over a former gift shop in The Works shopping center, according to Co-Franchisee Mandeep Singh, which has caused delays in the store’s debut as the build-out has proved tedious.
Singh and his brothers-in-law Kulwant Jafal and Garish Talwar make up Brothers Empire, the franchise group that will eventually own and operate three incoming SoCal stores.
As for where else the group is eyeing to open, Singh tells What Now Los Angeles that the “beach cities” are preferable. From there, he says, Brothers Empire will continue expanding to Orange County, Carlsbad, and further throughout LA.
Singh suspects that the next two stores will begin rolling out three to four months after the launch of the El Segundo outpost.
“What we love about Oath Pizza, in addition to the quality of food being unparalleled, is that it’s a small company. Whenever we have a question, we’re able to talk directly to the VP, as opposed to tossing a pebble into the dark,” says Singh when asked why Brothers Empire selected Oath as a franchise opportunity.
Oath Pizza posits itself as “made for people who want to eat better without giving up the foods they love.” Each of their pies is hand-stretched, grilled, and seared in avocado oil before being topped with housemade sauces, premium cheese blends, hand-cut veggies, and artisanal meats, making for a feel-good-after-eating experience not often associated with the famous dish.
