Four Restaurants That Opened Their Doors in L.A. This October

Diners across L.A. can now find delicious food offerings at Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant Morihiro, Korean fried chicken joint Chimmelier, and other restaurants given below.

Morihiro

Helmed by Chef “Mori” Onodera, the Japanese restaurant has made its way back to Elysian in Echo Park. Morihiro returns with its Michelin-star distinction and a special à la carte menu. Han Suk Cho oversees an extensive cocktail program at the new location.

The restaurant offers a signature Omakase experience for four guests nightly at 6:30 p.m., priced at $400++ per person. The restaurant seats 18 guests, with extra space at the bar for walk-ins. Zabuton Steak and Potato and Sakura Smoked Jidori Chicken are its highlight food items.

La Monique

This latest French diner has grabbed a spot in the vibrant food scene of Santa Monica with its seafood, steak, and seasonal produce.

Patrons can visit the French restaurant for an elegant ambiance featuring deep tones and refined art. The menu highlights at La Monique Santa Monica include Le Plateau Royal, Crispy Pork Belly Lyonnaise, Bone-In Filet Mignon, and Le Poulet Duo Poêlé & Braiser.

Chimmelier

Fried chicken lovers can now stop by this Korean restaurant for a wide assortment of mouthwatering dishes.

Fans of Korean fried chicken can stop by for a crave-worthy lineup of dishes. Chimmelier celebrated its L.A. debut in October with giveaways, free chicken tastings, and a grand raffle.

Tteokbokki, Corn Cheese, K-Chicken Burgers, Kimchi Fried Rice, Buldak Burgers, and Kauliflowe Nuggets are some of the dishes served at Chimmelier. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

West Hollywood Breakfast Company

 These items are made with pasture-raised eggs. However, the L.A. location served vegan picks as well. A coffee whiskey blend with vanilla, cold brew, and the Breakfast Shot are other highlights.

West Hollywood Breakfast Company’s offerings feature Chilaquiles Suizos, Japanese Spicy Chicken Sando, Fried Rice Bennie, Sweet Chili Shrimp & Grits, and Cali Burrito. These items are made with pasture-raised eggs. The L.A. location also offers vegan options. A coffee whiskey blend with vanilla, cold brew, and the Breakfast Shot are other highlights.
