Francophiles rejoice! Coucou, a locally loved Parisian-style bistro, is opening a second location in West Hollywood this spring, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram.

Coucou’s Venice location is known for its French cuisine, artisanal cocktails and celebration of aperitif culture. On the menu guests will find a variety of appetizers like zucchini beignets, steak tartare, oysters, caviar and whipped farmers cheese, as well as dishes like L’haute dog, mussels marinere and braised short ribs.

“Inspired by the timeless bars and bistros of France, Coucou intersects traditional French fare with Coastal California produce, prepared over a live-fire grill,” says the eatery’s website.

The new WeHo space is slated to have a larger kitchen, an enclosed patio and an expanded menu. They are currently taking suggestions from patrons about which new items they’d like to see.

Coucou is owned by Jesse and Haley Feldman.
