Tortellino, a new Italian concept by Andreas Galiano (AKA Andi Krush), is coming to 7168 Melrose Ave, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram.

Tortellino will serve a variety of tortellini, pasta and salad, and will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For now, the new spot will just focus on serving food, but may add wine and beer to the menu in the coming months, Galiano told What Now Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter was born in Germany to Sicilian parents and is excited to start his own venture in L.A. “I grew up in the restaurant business. My father had a successful Italian restaurant in Germany for 40 years and I’ve always had a passion for good Italian food because of that. I think it’s a really cool thing to be able to carry on that tradition here in Los Angeles,” said Galiano.

Italian food isn’t Galiano’s only passion. Under his Andi Krush pseudonym, he has released several songs, including his new EP, Shadows Run.

Tortellino is currently remodeling and redecorating, with plans to open by mid-January.
