NADC Burger is making its way to Los Angeles. It will open at 1091 Broxton Ave. in Westwood, according to a recent liquor license filing. The space was formerly home to Prince of Venice.
The burger spot — which stands for Not a Damn Chance — launched in Austin in 2022, helmed by professional skater Neen Williams and Michelin-recognized chef Phillip Frankland Lee. Williams and Lee constructed the brand around the concept of making the perfect burger.
The burger at the heart of the brand features a double patty of 100% Wagyu beef, American cheese, secret sauce, onions, pickles and jalapeños. Aside from that, the simple menu includes fries with a side of chipotle peppered ketchup or “beast mode” fries topped with cheese, diced pickles, jalapeños, special sauce and seasonings.
NADC Burger has expanded to Dallas, Fort Worth, Denver, Chicago, New York City and Charlotte. There is also a location heading to Nashville.
Lee is behind Scratch Restaurants, a restaurant group he has operated alongside his wife since 2013. Along with NADC Burger, the portfolio includes Sushi by Scratch Restaurants, which has multiple locations across the country, and Pasta Bar, which has locations in Los Angeles and Austin.
An exact opening timeline is still forthcoming. The team is currently hiring for the NADC Burger location in Los Angeles.
