Marea — a coastal Italian eatery by Altamarea Group, a hospitality collective responsible for concepts like Nicoletta and Morini — will get an LA outpost early next year at 430 N. Camden Drive in Beverly Hills.
The incoming iteration will set up shop near Gagosian Gallery, just up the street from Mr. Chow.
A celebrity hangout of sorts, Marea offers dishes like lobster and burrata, salt-baked branzino, and gnochetti with shrimp — all of which are likely to make an appearance on the LA menu, per Eater.
What’s more, the space will take on a gold onyx bar, a long patio, and two private dining rooms designed by ICrave, the award-winning NYC brand-strategy experts, making for a light yet luxurious ambiance accentuated by bespoke art.
This will be the brand’s first expansion in the US outside of New York.
