A new brunch concept called Bad Waiter is scheduled to open in Silver Lake at 2316 Hyperion Ave. in The Barai Day Spa’s old space. Owner Lynne Chomyong told WNLA that the restaurant should be open by late summer or early fall, but an exact opening date will depend on construction and passing inspections.

“It’s going to be an Asian fusion breakfast, brunch and lunch spot with a lot of Thai influence,” said Chomyong.

The restaurant will offer a variety of items like Kaprow omelets, eggs drizzled with garlic chili oil, Thai tea lattes, lychee lemonade and matcha drinks.

Further details about Bad Waiter were not provided at this time.
