Australia-based Bluestone Lane any day now will open its newest coffee shop in Brentwood on the westside.

The growing chain is putting the final touches on its new 1,650-square-foot cafe, at 11601 Wilshire Boulevard, in what is currently known as the Wells Fargo Center.

Bluestone Lane’s new coffee shop will have seating for 51 inside and for 26 outside on its un-covered, 468-square-foot patio.

An exact opening day is pending final inspections with the City of Los Angeles including the issuance of a liquor license, property management for the 500,000-square-foot office tower on Monday told What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) over the phone.

Ownership is hoping to debut the coffee shop before the end of 2019 but an early-2020 opening is more likely, they said.

Bluestone Lane did not immediately respond to a request for comment by WNLA Monday.

The coffee shop is opening as part of an ongoing renovation from the building’s newish owner, Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc.

The commercial real estate firm—a tenant of the office building for several years—in 2016 acquired 11601 Wilshire for roughly $311 million.

Eventually, the Wells Fargo name that adorns the building will be replaced with “Hudson Pacific Properties,” according to a new rendering for the project.
