After opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Echo Park’s Dada Market in December, the cult-favorite Little Fish is planning to open a second, larger, full-service location in Melrose Hill this summer on the same block as Kuya Lord and Ggiata.

Known for its beloved fried fish sandwich, Little Fish’s Echo Park menu includes unique breakfast and lunch items like smoked whitefish and cured trout tartines, fish and mushroom congees, crispy nori potatoes, and a grilled steak sandwich. The Los Angeles Times reported, “A number of dishes will most likely remain unique to the Echo Park location.”

According to their website, “Our seafood-focused menus always prioritize high quality, sustainable sourcing, and we use California produce whenever possible.”

Little Fish started as a seafood pop-up out of founders’ Anna Sonenshein and Niki Vahle’s home. The owners could not be immediately reached for comment.
