Berry Brand, an acai and pitaya bowl shop based out of Tustin, is working on a third location in Long Beach, located at 5710 E. 7th St.

The new restaurant will replace Yogurtland at an unknown date. Neither restaurant has updated their websites of the new/ lost location, but leasing representative Jade Field confirms the new tenant’s location. Berry Brand’s owner Truong Kim confirmed the new location with What Now Los Angeles but couldn’t provide an opening date or additional details. What is known is the restaurant will move into a 1,448 square-foot location.

This will become the second Berry Brand in Los Angeles County and third in Southern California. The restaurant started in Tustin at 2493 Park Ave., followed by a second restaurant in Cerritos at 12604 South St. Customers can expect the new Los Angeles location to open sometime in 2022. The restaurant will serve strictly acai or pitaya bowls when they open, with four decisions: size, base, granola, and toppings. Despite the small menu, the restaurant features dozens of toppings, including cacao nibs, goji berries, and pumpkin spice.

“Our passion for healthier food started as we got older and cared more about what we put into our body,” according to their website. “We think we found the perfect combination of wholesome ingredients that not only tastes great but good for you. Let’s be friends so that we could provide updates on the store we are building for the community, you.”
