Blu Jam Cafe — helmed by Kamil Majer — is bringing its new concept, Blu Jam Xpress, to Kitchen United MIX (1315 3rd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401) and Culver City; the Culver City address is currently unknown, but Majer tells What Now Los Angeles it will reside at the Hulu Building. The offshoot will focus on quick grab-and-go sandwiches, burritos, and wraps. “With delicious items like the Cruchy Sandwich, the Vegan Wrap, [and] the Breakfast Panini, Blu Jam Xpress will bring the food Los Angeles has grown to love over the past 16 years in a quicker more accessible venue,” explains the company’s website. Majer tells WNLA he is still “working on the details” regarding Blu Jam’s Santa Monica opening, citing “hick-ups with the city” as the reason for the delays. The website says the location should be open in early 2023. As for the Culver City location, Majer is certain doors will open at the end of the month.
