Blue Plate Restaurant Company is working on a new Mexican concept in Silver Lake. Tacolina will feature a “from-scratch bar and a coastal, Baja Mexican menu,” according to Blue Plate’s director of operations David Kianmahd, and is slated to open this August

Blue Plate also operates Oysterette, an East Coast-inspired raw bar; Divine Vintage, an eclectic wine, vintage clothing and jewelry shop; and Blue Plate Taco, another Baja-inspired Mexican restaurant serving up tacos and margaritas. The group is helmed by longtime restaurateur Jenny Rush.

The exact location of Tacolina is under wraps for now but stay tuned for an update in the coming weeks.
