Modern Sherman Oaks-based steakhouse BLVD Steak is preparing to expand for the first time with a new location in Calabasas at 4776 Commons Way, Suite A.

The company’s second location is set to move into the former home of Crossroads Kitchen in The Commons at Calabasas, first reported by ConejoValleyGuide. The new restaurant, which will feature prime cuts, fresh seafood, decadent sides, craft and classic cocktails, and an international wine collection, is expected to open in Summer 2025. BLVD Steak is the sister restaurant to Casita Mexican Restaurant & Bar and Taisho Japanese Restaurant & Bar, located on Ventura Street.

This is a massive achievement for founder Christian Corben and his business partner Paul Carroll. While both are behind the impressive sister concepts to BLVD STK, this is the first time they’ve expanded any of these concepts to a second location. Carroll has called Los Angeles home for over 20 years and managed various hospitality mainstays, including BOA Steakhouse and W Hotels. Corben, on the other hand, is a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry, having opened and managed trendsetting restaurants and bars across the country, including Katana and Sushi Roku. Together, they will expand a one-of-a-kind steakhouse to two locations.

“Alluring and stylish, BLVD Steak features a dining room, expansive bar, open-air patio, and private dining room,” according to the company’s website. “A rich palette of black, emerald green, and brushed gold create an ambiance that’s distinctly modern and eye-catching. From seafood towers and caviar service to classic cuts and A5 wagyu, dining at BLVD Steak is a carefully curated experience designed to delight those with discerning taste.”
