Breakfast and lunch eatery The Broken Yolk Café will open its newest location in Buena Park this summer.
The new franchised location is situated across the street from Knott’s Berry Farm, at 8010 Beach Blvd., and is currently seeking candidates for all positions including managers, servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to be a part of the opening team.
“The Broken Yolk Café Buena Park will be our collective’s biggest project yet, and we couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Buena Park community,” Mike DiNorscia of Grain & Grit Collective, the franchise owner who already owns two operating Broken Yolk Cafés in Orange and Costa Mesa, said in a press release. “I have always been outspoken about my belief that our people and our ‘collective approach’ is what sets us apart from other companies, so having the opportunity to hire over 40 team members is a mission we hold with the highest importance.”
The 6,000 square-foot building, previously a retail store, was taken down to the studs for a complete remodel, now featuring over 300 interior seats and an open-air patio for al fresco dining.
Breakfast, brunch, and lunch-goers can expect to enjoy a variety of made-from-scratch favorites on their updated menu, which includes an added beverage program featuring cold brew, hard kombucha, and beer on tap. Breakfast options include the Tiki Toast and Southern Biscuits & Gravy, to lighter options like the Feta Avocado Toast and Acai Bowl.
