Café Bonaparte, a Parisian-style cafe, is opening a second location in Redondo Beach, located at 219 Ave. I Ste. 100.
The cafe moves into the base level of The Oshens East in early Summer 2022. Owner Sasan Mirfakhraei tells What Now Los Angeles he is aiming to open the second location around May or June. The new location will feature some new dishes on the menu, including more Mediterranean food. Mirfakhraei says he also plans to add wine options, something not found at the original. Café Bonaparte takes pride in preparing and baking everything fresh with ingredients made in-house.
The original Hermosa Beach location, at 53 Pier Ave., first opened over 14 years ago. The Parisian-style cafe set itself apart by slicing and roasting all of its meats and vegetables in-house. On top of that, all of their pastries, bread, and desserts are baked fresh every day. Aside from their usual dessert selection, which includes cookies, eclairs, and affogato, the cafe has several rotating cake options available by the slice.
Their original menu is split between lunch and breakfast. For breakfast, customers can choose from a variety of omelets, bowls, breakfast sandwiches, and maison specials, such as Croque madam. The bakery also has several items to choose from including many croissant flavors. For lunch, customers can choose from sandwiches, paninis, quiche, and salads. For drinks, the cafe has several flavors of fresh-squeezed juice and smoothies, plus coffee, cocoa, an espresso bar, hot and iced tea.
