Candeeland, an ultimate indoor playground paradise for toddlers and kids, where parents can relax while their children play in a child-safe environment, is getting ready to expand its reach throughout Southern California with a handful of new locations.
Candeeland is no stranger to California, as it already has locations in Downey, Riverside, and Santa Ana, and recently opened in Temecula. However, the company is getting ready to double down on California locations with four new sites in development. In Los Angeles, the company is working on a location in Burbank at 201 E Magnolia Boulevard in the Burbank Town Center. This location will be owned and operated by Mitch Weightman, who tells What Now Los Angeles that this location is expected to open on the last weekend of April, but couldn’t provide an exact opening date. Later this year, a corporate-owned location will open at the Northridge Fashion Center in Northridge.
Beyond Los Angeles County, Candeeland is also working on a new location in Victorville at 14400 Bear Valley Road #735 at The Mall of Victor Valley. Company founder Peter Cho tells What Now that this location will also be corporate-owned. Andrew Oh, Cho’s business partner with Candeeland Victorville, tells What Now that the company doesn’t have an exact opening date but is tentatively hoping to open in mid-May 2025. Finally, Candeeland will open a fourth location in San Diego at The Shoppes at Carlsbad. Franchise owners Sam and Deena Wozniak and Tina Patel expect to open sometime in June.
Candeeland is an immersive indoor play center where a real-life Willy Wonka adventure comes to life. This innovative concept combines a bright, colorful, safe environment that inspires the imagination and engages children in active play. On top of various activities, such as big play structures, arcades, ninja courses, and more, each location features a cafe and private party rooms. Each cafe provides a selection of snacks and beverages, and some packaged food/salad options for your convenience. Whether looking for a quick bite or a refreshing drink, the cafe has plenty to refuel.
