Chicas Tacos is on target to open in Culver City before the end of the year.

Co-Owner Christopher Blanchard in a telephone conversation Wednesday told What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) that the taqueria’s newest outpost will debut in December.

An exact opening date for the forthcoming Chicas Tacos, at 9345 Culver Blvd., is TDB.

It replaces the now-shuttered Primal Kitchen across the street from The Culver Steps project.

The “turn-key,” 2,300-square-foot restaurant space was put up for sale in 2018 after Primal’s short stint since opening in 2017.

In addition to the menu at the original DTLA Chicas Tacos, in Culver City guests can expect all-day beer and wine as well as more modern Mexican dish options.

But Blanchard and his team aren’t stopping with Culver City.

He told WNLA that additional locations are in the pipeline for 2020 and the prospective neighborhoods are Mid-City and Venice Beach.

The restauranter would not disclose proposed sites for the would-be Chicas Tacos in those areas and referred us to his PR team to gather additional details.

“We have two new locations opening in the winter 2019/2020 and are focused on building and developing a strong team in the front and back of house,” according to an advert seeking talent for the new locations.

“We want to continue providing new opportunities for our people to develop and grow with us.”
