Citrin Hospitality, a well-known Los Angeles-based hospitality group, is set to open Maison Simone, a brand new concept located at 3321 S La Cienega Blvd, Suite U & V.
The new restaurant will land in the Cumulus District, a mixed-use development in West Adams, according to a recent liquor license application. Other tenants in the development include Whole Foods Market, Alchemist Coffee, Sandbox VR, and Pedal Electric. The project also includes residential towers ARQ and VOX, with retail and dining centered around an outdoor space, making it a perfect spot for this new concept. While it’s unknown when Maison Simone will open, it will be near the La Cienega/Jefferson Metro stop.
Maison Simone will undoubtedly add to Citrin Hospitality’s growing portfolio in Los Angeles while helping the district grow as a retail and dining destination. Founded by two-star Michelin chef Josiah Citrin, the group includes concepts like Citrin in Santa Monica and Charcoal Venice, a neighborhood steakhouse known for open-flame cooking. Maison Simone will enhance L.A.’s dining scene while Mélisse, Citrin’s flagship restaurant, remains a staple. The group aims to provide unique dining experiences through diverse concepts across the city.
Cumulus District is a 14-acre mixed-use development, bridging the Culver City and West Adams neighborhoods. The project blends residential, retail, and recreational space to create a vibrant, walkable community, featuring over 100,000 square feet of retail space. Dining and retail are centered around an outdoor space called Zocalo. Recognized with a CoStar award for Best New Multifamily Development in Los Angeles, Cumulus continues to grow as a key lifestyle and dining destination. While details regarding Maison Simone remain under wraps, the new concept will further enhance the development.
