FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc. by way of Franchisee Arman Boghosian recently debuted a co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express restaurant in Van Nuys, at 7600 Balboa Blvd Unit 108 in the Valley Royal Plaza, right on the border of the Lake Balboa neighborhood, a company spokesperson in an email confirmed with What Now Los Angeles. It is now open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

“The heart of our brand is in California and we know the demand for our delicious burgers and tasty wings is especially high in the state,” Andy Wiederhorn, CEO of FAT Brands, said in a prepared statement. “This is our first new location in San Fernando Valley in some time now and we are eager to provide locals with another comfort food option closer to home.”

Los Angeles-based Fatburger was founded 70 years ago by Lovie Yancey offering customizable burgers with options ranging from everything from bacon and eggs to chili, jalapenos, and onion rings. In addition to its burgers, the Fatburger menu also includes Fat and Skinny fries, sweet potato fries, scratch-made onion rings, IMPOSSIBLE™ burgers, turkey burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hand-scooped milkshakes made from 100 percent real ice cream.

From the Buffalo’s Express menu, patrons can choose bone-in or boneless wings accompanied by a range of sauces including Scorchin, Carolina Fire BBQ, Asian Sesame, Coconut Jerk, Honey Garlic, and Sweet Bourbon BBQ. All of Buffalo’s Express menu wings are accompanied by celery, carrots and blue cheese, ranch or honey mustard dressing.
