Landers Liquor Bar and Supply House will be opening another location in San Clemente later this year. The restaurant and cafe will be located at 1814 N. El Camino Real in San Clemente.

“We are shooting to open San Clemente May 1,” Owner Chance Owen told What Now Los Angeles.

The new location will be 6,000 square feet after being on the market for 11 months with a full restaurant build-out, according to permits filed with the city.

Already with a location in Costa Mesa, Landers provides a dining, drinking and shopping destination with restaurant, bar and retail options for customers.

The big difference will the new location is that it will have more of an indoor dining experience.

While Landers had primarily been cocktail-driven to start, with Chef Jeramie Sean Calcetas signed on to head the new restaurant Owen said the menu will be an eclectic mix of California and Americana options.

“We’ll be 20 yards off the beach with a beautiful view,” he added.

He felt San Clemente was a great home for the new location as the costal surf town has a casual Cali-vibe, which he hopes to combine with Landers’ high-desert image.

“If this does what we hope we will be able to expand very soon,” Owen said.

He mentioned Long Beach and other costal areas as possibilities.
