Crossroads Kitchen, Los Angeles’ beloved plant-based dining destination, is expanding to a new location in Calabasas, located at 4776 Commons Way Ste. B1.
The new Crossroads Kitchen will be the first entirely plant-based restaurant within The Commons at Calabasas, expected to open in Fall 2022. This will be the second location opening in 2022, following the debut of Crossroads Las Vegas and CB Burgers, the restaurant’s first location outside of California, opening in late Spring 2022. The restaurant, owned and operated by acclaimed chef and plant-based visionary Chef Tal Ronnen, will move into the former home of Corner Bakery.
Crossroads Calabasas will have a similar menu to its original location at 8284 Melrose Ave. Guests can expect to find some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, including stuffed zucchini blossoms, beet tartare, and house-made pasta such as the tagliatelle bolognese and fettuccine and truffles. Unlike the original location, the Calabasas restaurant will feature a unique dining room that expands onto an open-air patio. The new Calabasas location will serve more of an upscale lunchtime menu than Melrose’s casual daytime dining experience.
“We have people that travel from all over LA to visit us at Crossroads on Melrose in West Hollywood, so we really loved the idea of opening a spot in Calabasas to make it even more convenient for our guests that live North of us to dine regularly,” Ronnen tells What Now Los Angeles. “With Crossroads Las Vegas opening in the Spring, and now Calabasas in the Fall, we have a pretty busy, but exciting year ahead.”
