Deep End Live, a 234-capacity live music bar blending coastal ambiance with high-energy performances, is preparing to open in Redondo Beach at 100 Fisherman’s Wharf, Suite 100 I and 100 J.
Although an official opening date has yet to be announced, a recent liquor license application and investor pitch deck suggest that the venue will feature nightly programming, including national touring acts, local musicians, and DJ sets. The space is located directly on the Redondo Beach Pier, in an area poised for redevelopment. Ownership includes Brenton Reger, Joseph Smith, and Daryl Swensson.
Deep End Live aims to fill a gap in South Bay’s nightlife and live music scene, bringing together elements of immersive lighting, premium sound, and multi-genre bookings, according to the investor materials. The concept markets itself as both a nightlife venue and a cultural hub, with an emphasis on experiential events in a laid-back, oceanfront setting.
The venue’s programming will span a wide range of genres, from rock, funk, and bluegrass to EDM, soul, and tribute nights. Deep End Live will also feature a full-service bar, offering local beers, seasonal cocktails, and customizable drink menus for private events. Design plans include LED walls, intelligent lighting, and laser effects to support high-impact performances.
The Redondo Beach Pier has been identified in recent years as a focal point for revival, with Deep End Live positioning itself as an early contributor to that momentum. The concept is also offering a limited VIP investor program, which includes lifetime ticket perks, bar credits, and merchandise incentives.
More details, including a launch timeline and artist lineup, are expected to be released as the opening approaches.
