Des Croissants Paris, a traditional French Boulangerie Patisserie, is preparing to open a new location in Santa Monica at 1704 Ocean Park Blvd.

The company’s second location is set to move into the former home of Antequera Bakery, according to ToodRickAllen. It’s unclear when this location will open, but it will likely open in Spring 2025. Customers can expect freshly baked croissants, pastries, and sandwiches. Owner Samuel Manar opened the first location in Culver City at 8539 Washington Boulevard and participates in at least six Farmers Markets, including Echo Park, Old Town Newhall, Santa Clarita, and more.

When Manar opened this bakery, he wanted to create delicious bread and pastries that showcased authentic French baking, transporting guests to the streets of Paris with every taste. The 100 percent artisanal bakery bakes all of its bread using homemade viennoiseries in respect to the French tradition. All products are made with quality French ingredients. Now, the established baker is getting ready to expand Des Croissants Paris for the first time.

“Samuel’s work is infused with genuine love, creating an atmosphere that feels like home, embodying “l’art de vivre à la française,” according to the company’s website. “Our values are deeply ingrained in everything we do. Integrity is a non-negotiable; we uphold the highest standards in product quality and take immense pride in our craft. Respect guides our interactions with customers, the production process, and the end product itself. Authenticity defines us – we are proudly French, committed to tradition while embracing innovation at every turn.”
