Craving smooth soft serve dipped in chocolate, but the McDonald’s ice cream machine is broken yet again? If you’re in El Segundo, you’ll soon be in luck: Dipped Ice Cream is preparing to open at 118 West Grand Avenue.
The parlor specializes in soft serve cones dipped in Belgian chocolate and decorated with elaborate toppings, according to Dipped Ice Cream’s website. The creations star red velvet cake, brownies, cookies and cream, salted caramel and more.
The shop is in the process of building out its space, based on its Instagram account, and a post on Nextdoor that appears to be from owner Jaime Kim claims it will open in September if city permits come through.
