The beloved neighborhood breakfast jewel in Sherman Oaks, Donny’s Breakfast Spot, will reopen and soothe our souls with its delectable southern comfort food.
Owner Donny Harrell, who is currently working towards opening two locations of Donny’s Wings and Spicy Fries, recently made the announcement on Instagram that Donny’s Breakfast Spot will reopen in 2022. Although an official address and exact launch date have not been revealed, foodies can rejoice in the return of this local favorite.
Donny’s Breakfast Spot serves home-style southern comfort food, inspired by Harrell’s grandmother’s cooking. The menu is stacked with delicious breakfast dishes Harell grew up on, including catfish, grits and eggs, and seasoned crispy chicken and buttery waffles. Additional highlights on the menu include breakfast sandwiches, home fried potatoes, and salmon croquettes.
